Glenn Howerton was born in Japan and grew up in countries around the globe as the son of a fighter pilot. After settling in Montgomery, Alabama, Howerton very nearly wound up studying aerospace engineering at Auburn University. Changing his mind at the last minute, he travelled to New York alone to attend the prestigious Juilliard School.
Howerton moved to Los Angeles in November 2001 after amassing an impressive list of regional theatre roles and appears in the 2002 TNT movie "Monday Night Mayhem" as well as an episode of the Denis Leary dramedy "The Job".
