| Every four years, the world comes together to compete in and observe the World Soccer Cup
championships.  This event, which some claim make the Super Bowl and World Series look like
backyard games by comparison, has a television audience of over one billion fans in 156 
countries.  The 1980s saw two World Soccer Cup championships.  Below are the results of
