The four Screens above show the possible choices for your background picture. From the top left corner going clockwise, they are Black and White Cast, Ferris With Sunnies, Ferris' Room and Ferris at the Keyboard.

When you have decided which one of the four you would like as your background then you must determine the screen resolution you are using. To do this,

• Left click on a clear space on your desktop
• Go to Properties
• On the panel that appears hit the Settings Tab
• Look at the feature that says screen area and make note if it is
  • 640 by 480 pixels
  • 800 by 600 pixels or
  • 1024 by 768 pixels Sorry I don't accomodate any higher resolutions

Then simply use the links in the left frame to select the correct screen resolution folder and then picture. The pictures are within zip files to save downloading time, so if you do not have a zip utility such as Winzip, you will need to get one.

So then all that you need to do is

• Extract the bitmap image from the zip file to somewhere on your hard drive
• Left click on a clear space on your desktop
• Go to Properties
• On the panel that appears hit the Background Tab
• From there press the Browse... button and find the location where you saved the bitmap image and open it
• Then simply press the Apply Button and voila your desktop has been Ferrised
